Make Up: What I'm Reaching For

I tend to go through phases with my make up routine, I will use something religiously for weeks then go off it and it's left un touched in my make up drawer for months. I'm going through a bit of a phase currently so I though I'd show you guys what I've been loving! So these are the bits I have been reaching for recently-

Skin79 BB Cream - Now this has got to be my Holy Grail product in terms of a base, it's perfect in every way and my skin love it! It's literally the only face product that hasn't clogged my pores up or made me break out. I love this stuff!

No7 Exquisite Curl Mascara Brown/Black - This is a bit of a re discovery for me, I used to love this but went off it when I fell in love with L'Oreal Telescopic Waterproof and it's curl holding ability but that is proving to be a pain in the bum to get off recently for some reason so I have reverted back to this beauty and un earthed a little trick to help straight lashes stay curled for longer without having to use waterproof mascara! Hallelujah! Let me know if you guys want a little post on that!

Collection 2000 Shimmer & Shade in It's Peachy - I have been reaching for this for months now and I adore it! It's perfect for highlighting and doesn't look over done at all. Yes I know it's broken to absolute buggery. RIP highlighter.

Bourjois Blush in Rose D'Or - I love love love this blush! I've had it for an age but never really reached for it but I tried it the other week and I'm in love! I've bought another shade too and love that too. This one is quite similar to NARS Orgasm with it's golden tones but it's slightly more pink which I love. It also smells divine!

Rimmel Eyeshadow Duo in Walnut Pearls - Another re discovery, I must have had this years and never used it! It's such a beautiful eyeshadow and the colours are so natural looking which I love with eyeshadow as long gone are the days of bright eyeshadow for me I feel. The darker shade is quite similar to Naked by Urban Decay and the lighter similar to Virgin but without so much shimmer which just so happen to be my favourite shades of the Naked palette.

Revlon Lip Butter in Sugar Frosting - This has been my go to lip product literally everyday for about a week now, I love how natural it looks and how the shimmer adds such a lovely dimension to my lips.

Essie Expose Your Toes - This is actually relatively new but I loved it so much and have worn it since I got it! It's such a natural light pink which gorgeous subtle shimmer throughout. The shimmer isn't detectable unless you look super closely but it just makes the polish look so much more amazing.

  1. Nice post! I had the Rimmel eyeshadows aswell, but chucked it because there was literally no colour payoff, like... none at all. Weird!:S x

    1. Thank you! That's strange! I get pretty good colour pay off with mine. Perhaps it was a faulty one? x

  8. I only just heard that Bourjois make-up is made in the same factory as Chanel. Don't know if it's true but I'm sold! Great choices as well :)
