So what's the weekend without a little pamper session? Well, not a weekend I say! Since having my daughter me time has been dramatically cut to the extent it's none existent, my baths these days consist of me sticking my head over the side whilst running after a 2 year old who thinks it's fun to pinch my shampoo/conditioner/etc and leg it laughing and hiding said shampoo/conditioner/etc in random drawers and various other places they do not belong but yesterday I managed to squeeze in a nice little pamper session whilst the little one was having her nap.
Soap & Glory Flake Away
L'Occitane Shower Oil
LUSH Creamy Candy Bubble
Venus Proskin Razor
Tweezerman Mini Tweezers
First Aid Beauty Body Moisturizer
First I crumbled some Creamy Candy under the tap whilst the bath is running which creates a HUGE mountain of amazing sweetie smelling bubbles! I love Creamy Candy, it's probably my most repurchases Bubble Bar. It usually lasts me a good 3 or 4 baths which id pretty reasonable, it's got bits of cocoa butter which melt on the surface of the water too which are so so moisturising!
The Soap & Glory Flake Away I use as a little prep for my legs prior to shaving, it just smooths them over and makes shaving a whole lot more effective. I also use the L'Occitane Shower Oil as a shaving cream too as it makes a wonderfully slippy surface which not only gives a cleaner shave it also moisturises and protects as you go which is great in my opinion! I've used many many things as shaving creams but nothing has been as good as this. I also use it all over my body because the smell is so so amazing, like bakewell tarts, mmmmmm! Not overly sweet though, just a lovely hint of beautiful almond amazingness!
The First Aid Beauty Moisturizer is something I've raved about many, many a time before. It's just such a brilliant moisturiser, it isn't scented, it absorbs quickly, doesn't leave a slimy feeling behind and is just generally bloody amazing! I will keep repurchasing this for sure!
I have only just purchased the Tweezerman Tweezers as I was quite happy with my Bourjois ones but I am so glad I bit the bullet with these beauts! Review coming soon!
The razor I bought from Asda as it was reduced and it's okay, I perhaps have another use out of it just about and it worked well, the gel strips added a nice lubrication to my legs which gave a better shave and didn't irritate my skin but I don't think I would want to pay the £9.99 (which includes a shower pod, 1 cartridge and 1 razor handle) for just 1 or 2 uses. I did like it, I usually go for Venus razors though as they are good and tend to have pretty great offers on them in places like Boots, Asda, Superdrug, etc so they work out better value for money then.
Hope you are all having a great weekend!
