Review: Revlon Colourburst Lip Butters

I literally squealed with excitement when I saw these on my doorstep! I cannot put into words how much I love these Lip Butters! They have got to be my all time favourite lip products in the whole world ever!

The shades I have here are Strawberry Shortcake which is looking and bit worse for wear as I literally have not stopped applying this since I bought it a few weeks ago. It is the perfect baby pink girly shade with a gorgeous scent to it. Next is Sweet Tart that just so happens to match Revlons Sweets Tart nail polish that I just so happen to be wearing so this was a winner all round! Its a really pretty medium pink with just a tiny coral hint to it, I can see this being a perfect summer shade. Lastly I have the shade Lollipop which is an amazing berry hot pink with blue shimmer tones that are simply gorgeous! This shade really makes my lips pop!

All of the shades have such an amazing colour pay off, I was so impressed when I first tried these! For some reason I was expecting them to be pretty sheer as the are a lip blam/lipstick hybrid but the pigmentation is definitely closer to that of a lipstick, especially Lollipop.

The texture differs slightly between the shades, Lollipop is a bit of a harder feeling product, with a slightly gritty texture from the glitter in it but the other two are incredibly soft.

What’s your favourite shade?

They don't seem sheer at all! Love the look of Strawberry Shortcake as well, and Lollipop for when your confidence levels are up. 😛 x

I was so surprised! They are actually more pigmented than so lipsticks I own! Strawberry Shortcake is probably my favourite out of the three! Can't wait to buy more! haha! x

I really really want these!! Did you get these on Ebay like your last post? Did it work out expensive or would you recommend waiting for them to release here? x

I got the Strawberry Shortcake from eBay but the other 2 I ordered from Boots online, they have an offer for 2 for £10 so they work out a pound or so cheaper over here but once the offer has finished they work out cheaper if you buy from a US seller on eBay. I just bought Gumdrop for £7 delivered from the US! 🙂 x
