I will start by saying that these beauties are like no other lip product I have tried before. They are honestly amazingly lovely in every way and I can see myself buying all of these, but anyway, on to the review!
The formula of these lip butters are exactly that, they feel like butter on your lips somewhat between a lipstick and a lip balm. They glide effortlessly on your lips and they feel so so wonderful to apply. They smell so nice although I was expecting the scent to reflect the name and although this wasn’t so, they still smell amazing all the same! Kind of a sweet, creamy scent but not heavy or overpowering in the slightest.
This shade is called Strawberry Shortcake which is a gorgeous vibrant, glossy baby pink which appears to have very slight blue undertones when on the lips. It is incredibly pigmented for a lip balm/gloss which I was not expecting at all. For some reason I was expecting quite a sheer, barely there colour but this product gives a strong, almost lipstick type colour pay off which is amazing.
They are incredibly hydrating and don’t feel at all sticky. The staying power is pretty average for a lip balm, lipstick hybrid and I get about 3 hours out of one application although it feels so lovely to apply I find myself grabbing it every 5 seconds just so I can put it on! I think I’m developing a slight addiction to applying this!
They aren’t available in the UK and I bought this off eBay from a US seller but they will be available for £7.99 each in the UK soon so keep your eyes out! I will definitely be grabbing (probably literally!) some more!
The shades that will be available in the UK are as follows:
