If you follow me on twitter you might have seen that I finally got a Clarisonic Mia as a gift from my daughter! I say from my daughter, she’s 2 so she didn’t actually buy it herself but she chose it because she’s the best and Mummy forked out the cash. I have a sensitive brush head on mine because it has become apparent that I do in fact have quite sensitive skin when it comes to cleansing and figured if I felt I wanted the normal brush head I could buy that after 4 months when I have to replace the brush anyway and the sensitive brush wouldn’t be as much of a shock to my skin initially and so far so good!
When I first used it I was quite surprised at how gentle is it, I don’t know why but I was expecting it to be quite a bit harsher on the skin but it really is quite nice! Each time you press the button it gives you a 60 second cycle which is just the right amount of time if you ask me, near the end my skin does feel as though it’s been brushed with a giant tooth brush and is verging on feeling a tiny bit sore at first but this doesn’t last long and is getting less and less apparent the more I’ve been using it but it may be worth getting the delicate brush if you have very sensitive skin.
I have tried a few different cleansers with it so far which I will be doing a little post on soon so keep your eyes peeled if you’re interested! I’m thinking of trying a bunch and recording my thoughts to help you guys out if you’re thinking of getting a Clarisonic as I do feel a bit overwhelmed as to which cleansers to try! Haha!
As for my skin, I started using this when it was having a bit of a freak out and had quite a few little blemishes which was annoying but I really think this has helped clear them up a lot faster than they would usually disappear so I’m really impressed! My pores look slightly more refined and my skin is smoother already. No massive changes yet but my skin definitely looks and feels a lot better than it was before!
