Review: Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover

I will start by saying this stuff is amazing, I don’t think I will be buying any other nail polish remover ever! It’s basically a little pink pot filled with sponge and nail polish remover but my gosh it’s brilliant!

It claims to remove the polish off of one nail in 1 second which I think is just a touch ambitious, 3 seconds is closer than the truth which is still pretty damn great! The idea is, you pop your finger into the hole in the foam and twist! Voila! Clean nails!

It also says it smells like Red Fruit and Vanilla which is also a little bend to the truth as the classic nail polish remover smell is still pretty evident sadly. However, once I’ve washed my hands I can smell a sweet scent on my fingers which is nice although I’m not quite sure I’d call it Red Fruit or Vanilla but it’s reasonably pleasant all the same. It also contains Sweet Almond Oil which you can definitely feel after using this, even after washing your hands. It creates a sort of moisturising film over my nails for a bit which is great as most other removers I’ve tried strip my nails and dry them out quite badly.

It cost me just under a fiver from Boots which is a pretty good price if you ask me. The packaging is nice and looks lovely and girly! A lot nicer than others out there that’s for sure! I will definitely re purchase this once it runs out!

It is! I dont tend to wear glitter because it's so flipping hard to get off but with this about 3 or 4 twists and it's off. Takes longer than a second though, more like 5 or 6 seconds depending on the size of the glitter but still about a million times faster than using cotton wool! I shudder at the thought of sitting there with cotton wool for a good half hour trying to get glitter off my nails! This is amazing. xx

    Hello 🙂

I've seen this product crop up a few times now. Unfortunately, I've not long just bought a new bottle of nail varnish remover haha so I have a whole bottle to get through before I can try this. It is most definitely going to be the one I buy next 😀

    Great review,

    Amy 🙂 x
