Pink Parcel are a monthly period subscription box which not only send you food and beauty products every month it also allows you to customise the protection you get too (pads, tampons or a combo of both). I’ve been getting these boxes for a while now and I really bloody love them. I love the surprise element and also that I never have to go out and buy pads myself anymore. I have been subscribed to quite a lot of beauty boxes over the past 6 years and this is probably the best subscription box I’ve had in terms of bang for you buck. There is yet to be a box that I haven’t been excited about which is saying something!
This month was a cracker in therms of value, the box itself costs £10.50 but the value knocked up to about £45!
THE LONDON TEA COMPANY PURPLE TEA
Tint sachets of tea are always a winner. They’re cute and that’s enough for me haha!
FIGS & ROUGE 3 IN 1 HERO CREAM FULL SIZE £18.00
This is the most expensive product in the box, it pays for itself and then some with this baby! I’ve tried lip balms by Figs & Rouge before which I absolutely loved so I had high hopes for this. The formula is super thick, kind of like sun cream which I was a bit “eh” about and I could still feel it on my skin in the morning but my foundation went on a lot smoother so bonus points there. If you don’t like heavier creams and sit on your face you probably won’t like this but it makes up for that in everything else. Even after just one use my skin feels more moisturised and I will definitely keep using it.
RAWCHA ORGANIC MATCHA CACO ALMOND
This looks really nice, I love almond and food so I’m excited to try this.
BALANCE ME PURE SKIN FACE WASH SAMPLE SIZE
Not that crazy about the smell of this one, I could smell it through the box and it just didn’t do it for me. Initial thoughts aside, the scent doesn’t linger too much and it makes my face feel clean but not tight like most cleansers.
BENECOS LIP LINER FULL SIZE £3.95
Love the colour of this, it’s a lovely deep red, nice and pigmented and will go nicely with my darker lip colours in Autumn/Winter.
ANATOMICALS DEEP CONDITIONING HAIR PACK £1.50
I love a nice hair mask, this was super difficult to open, I probably should have opened it before I got in the shower haha. It didn’t really smell like much, I want to say it had a classic conditioner smell but I’m not sure that’s a very good description! It was nice and thick and I only used half the packet. It isn’t the best deep conditioner I’ve tried but it did leave my hair feeling softer and shinier without weighing it down.
SPA TO YOU KONJAC SPONGE FULL SIZE £7.99
I love this, I did expect it to feel a bit more exfoliating than it is, the texture is quite smooth and foamy. The shape is great for getting into the awkward face bits and I do really love it! It has a little string attached so it can be hung up to dry properly which is a great idea too. I will quickly mention that when it does dry out after use it will be very shrivelled and hard but a quick run under the water will sort that out.
STYLONDON SILIGEL BLENDER FULL SIZE £6.99
I’ve tried these silicone blenders before although it was a cheap knock off from eBay. It doesn’t replace my brushes and beauty blender but it is really great for applying primer. Stinks like plastic when you first open it so if you hate strong smelling stuff I advice soaking it in some nice essential oils or something and letting it air before using it.
All in all this box was bloody good in terms of value and once again filled with things I will use which is a big shocker because I have normally hated at least 1 box by now so top marks still!
