GIFT GUIDE FOR HIM

Men are hard to buy gifts for. Every partner has struggled to buy for the man in their life at one point or another but let’s face it, most guys would be happy with a blow job and a bacon sandwich but here is a more creative gift guide for the man in your life.

For the gamers…

Call Of Duty World War II

For the gamers out there, nothing like a good game on Valentine’s Day, am I right? I feel like COD is a pretty stereotypical “blokes” game isn’t it? I don’t like stereotypes but I like COD. It’s a bloody great game and would be perfect for guys and gals who love first person shooters and zombies. What better combination right?

Alien: Isolation

A horror survival number that will shit you up in no time. For any Alien film lovers this would be a great choice.

Wolfenstein II

The latest instalment in this nazi killfest series. I really want this one actually! Someone buy me this for Valentine’s Day. Thanks.

If you need some inspiration then check the heck out of these guys for game reviews, play throughs, gaming news, unboxing and various other game related jargon:

Gamerccino – you’re obliged to check this out because he’s my bae

Final Boss Fight – top blokes who know their shit

Thumb Culture – they always have their thumb on the latest game. See what I did there? Nope? Ok.

Anyway, for top notch game related nonsense those guys are your…well, guys.

For some pampering…

Pampering isn’t just for girls, Ben is an avid Lush user so some lovely bath bombs and body scrubs wouldn’t go amiss! My product suggestions would have to be:

Metamorphosis – starting as a dark, grey black pepper and myrrh scented fizz sensation it evolves into a burst of light bringing with it a cinnamon scent along with brightly coloured fizziness.

Rub Rub Rub – this salt based shower scrub is the bomb! It can be used on the body and hair making it super versatile. The scent is very oceany which is lovely! I’ve even used it as a face scrub before so you really do get bang for your buck with this baby!

Soft Coeur – this massage bar is by far my favourite, it smells just like chocolate and is amazing in every way!

Big – Another Salt based product which also smells like the seaside, this is a wonderful shampoo which is similar to Rub Rub Rub but leaves the hair a lot more shiny. Fancy a solid shampoo bar? Seanik is similar to both of these but the added seaweed bumps up the shine tenfold!

Gillette Proshield Chill

I feel like a mans gift guide isn’t complete without a razor. This one is super swish with flexball technology to get around those curves and creases and cooling lubricant before and after the blades to soothe your mans chiseled face…or ball sack, whichever.

£12

Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male

Aftershave is another good shout, this one from Jean Paul Gaultier smells amazing. I know because this is the one Ben has worn for the past 10 years. It has top notes of Bergamot and Cardamom with Lavender, Cinnamon, Cumin and Orange Blossom at the heart and Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Amber and Cedar base notes.

£30+

Personalised Leather Bracelet

This is probably my favourite! The clasp is magnetic which I thought was pretty cool and makes it easier to put on and take off. Shout out to Ben who let me photograph his arm for the purpose of this product.

£34.99

Suits

If you’re feeling fancy then maybe even a nice suit to take your love for a nice slap up meal and a beer. Suitsmen have an array of lovely suits to choose from to suit every occasion. There really is something for everybody!  Plus, I don’t know a man who would turn food and booze.

Which one is your favourite?
