I do a post every month with my goals so I thought it’d be a nice idea to do a post to celebrate my achievements of the month gone by, however small they may seem! Think Georgina Clarke’s Everyday Wins (which you should check out and totally join in) but monthly…Yeh, that.
Having suffered with depression for most of my life it’s all too easy to end up focusing on the bad points and the things I don’t achieve, so much so that the things I did do get overlooked. So before I post my new set of goals for March I thought I’d reflect back over February to see how much I actually bossed things.
So lets start this snowy Saturday off with a motivational “I got shit done” post –
01. The Mamarchy – now, this isn’t just my achievement, a few weeks ago me and my babes launched a new parenting group on Facebook and within 3 days we were already at 400 followers! Insane! If you don’t know, The Mamarchy is a new no bullshit parenting group on Facebook for, well, parents…So if you’re not offended by the word cunt and aren’t a high horse dwelling nobber then come and join us!
02. The Mamarchy’s logo – I brushed off my graphics tablet and smashed out this logo for The Mamarchy. I’m pretty chuffed with how it looks actually! Normally I’m one of those people who hates everything they make as you can probably tell with the amount of different logo designs I’ve had over the past 7 months. Anyway, here is the pink version and also my fave:
(you should totally go join)
04. I bossed last months goals – all of them. Well, I sort of have a blogging schedule…ish. Okay not really but I’m trying. I keep forgetting and then just posting anyway.
05. I left the house alone more than once – anxiety is a bitch but this month I’ve really challenged it and done things I normally wouldn’t have, just to avoid possible panic related shit. I don’t want to talk too soon but I hope I can keep it up.
I think I’d going to make this a thing now because it’s been nice to actually think back and focus on the stuff I’ve achieved that I ordinarily wouldn’t have noticed. I feel pretty darn pleased with myself!
What did you achieve last month?
