My Current Shower Favourites

It’s been a looong time since I wrote about what shower products I’m loving, years actually. I tend to flit between products so much if I’m honest, not because the products are necessarily bad or don’t work for me but because I just get so bored easily. Even if I’ve loved a product for years, if something new comes up then I’m definitely going to jump on that first and our shelf in the bathroom is probably near to falling down we have so many different shower gels and shampoos. I have a skincare buying problem basically, it’s probably worse than my make up collection problem, to be honest. My main obsession is normally Lush but I’ve not been in ages so this is a bit of big a mix up for me in terms of brands because this post contains no Lush items, shock horror!

Here are a little collection of shower products I am reaching for lately –

Umberto Gianinni Pouf! Magic Wash – This is a brand I’ve really been loving lately, as you can probably tell by the number of times I’ve been raving about them on here and Instagram, haha. I know I’ve said it a billion times before but the packaging of these products is goals. It says it’s best for choppy layers and bobs and my hair is normally quite a bit shorter than it is now but whatever length it is, it is always quite flat so the fact this shampoo is lightweight and doesn’t weigh the hair down makes it perfect for me. The only thing I don’t like about this shampoo is the screw lid, it’s super annoying trying to get it on and off in the shower but apart from that, I love it.

Noble Isle Bath & Shower Gel in Fireside –  I featured this in my Father’s Day Gift Guide and although it is primarily aimed at men, I think the scent is amazing! It smells like The Olive Branch from Lush which is one of my faves! I’ve loved Noble Isle gels for years with my ultimate fave being Summer Rising, I need to repurchase that scent actually because I’ve been lusting over it for ages now, they’re quite pricey at £20 a pop but they do last a decent amount of time to be fair to them.

Umberto Gianinni 60 Second Smooth – This shit has changed my life. I don’t tend to condition my hair every time I wash it because it is naturally quite oily and fine so I find that conditioning it that often just makes it super limp and gross. Since finding this utter game changer my hair has loved me again. I use this about once a week (I wash my hair every other day) and although you do have to be quite careful in making sure you wash it all out as it is quite heavy on the hair, it is amazing! I love how easy to manage it makes my hair and I will definitely repurchase this when I run out!

Sukin Cleansing Gel – I’m really loving gel cleansers for the shower lately, I used to swear by my Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser but since the weather has heated up I’m finding myself reaching for this over my fave. I love the freshness this gives me without leaving my skin really dry or tight. I tend to have that issue with gels which is why I normally opt for creams but this sensitive cleansing gel is my new summer fave. It’s cruelty-free and vegan too so that’s a triple win.

Palmers Cocoa Butter – Technically not an actual shower product but I use this after I’ve dried my skin. This has been my fave of mine for years and for £4 a bottle you can’t go wrong. It’s suitable for sensitive, eczema prone skin so Lily has been pinching this too and it’s not flared her skin up at all. I love the smell of this, it’s so nostalgic to me and my skin is always next level soft whenever I’ve been using it.
