It’s that time of the month again where I harp on about how fast the previous month has gone blah blah blah. I feel like I repeat myself every month with these goal introductions but seriously, how is it basically Christmas now. A lot of this month we have been stuck in the house with a cold then another cold then a sickness bug but we finally ventured out yesterday and took the kids to a bunch of half term activities as well as trick or treating. Anyway, that’s another blog post so before I get distracted and start waffling on about some other random stuff here are my goals for this month:
01. Meal Plan
I have massively sucked at planning meals for an actual age now and the sheer amount of times I have had to send Ben to the shop to pick up something I had forgotten for a meal is shocking so I’ve pulled out the big guns (my Canva meal planning template) and started planning out this month’s meals. Here’s to actually sticking to it!
02. Start planning my bloody wedding
It’s been nearly 2 years since me and Ben got engaged and I have nothing but a ring and a few Pinterest boards to show for it. We have an idea of what we want but I need to really up my game and look for THE dress. I’ve found some men’s trousers from Suitsmen which are nice but yeh, reeeeally need to up our game.
03. Swap out milk chocolate for dark chocolate
I’m one of those weirdos that love dark chocolate. I have been massively craving it lately so I’m seizing this opportunity to try and make my chocolate intake a healthier one…Dark chocolate is healthier, right? The vast majority of dark chocolate is vegan too so, every little helps and all that jazz.
04. Use more eco-friendly cleaning products
I am loving this cleaning buzz on social media lately and I am a huge Mrs Hinch fan, I think she is so fun and is really helping give people the motivation to make their homes a cleaner, more relaxing space.

Ellen O’Keeffe – Ellen recently did an eco week which is one of the things which spurred me on to try and be more eco-friendly in my own home. I am dying to get hold of some Cleanology sprays!
05. Drink less fizzy drinks
It recently occurred to me that I couldn’t remember the last time I drank anything that wasn’t fizzy. Even water I drink carbonated because ever since I got pregnant with Eloise and suffered pretty bad morning sickness and couldn’t stomach anything flat I just got into a habit of drinking fizzy and only fizzy drinks. When I was blessed with Lily’s sickness bug last week all I wanted was cold, plain old tap water and I’ve kind of used that as a turning point in weaning myself off so much carbonated crap.
