Aldi is smashing it once again with their Baby & Toddler Specialbuy event with amazing products available from 6th January online and hitting stores on 10th January and I’m 100% there for it. I bloody love Aldi, their products are affordable without swerving on quality. The cheese is amazing, the baby food is a fraction of the big brands and the nappies start at a quid. It wasn’t that long ago that I reviewed their Mamia range (which is fab by the way) and I genuinely can’t wait for this baby event because we all know Aldi always smashes it.
My Baby & Toddler Event Picks
Bambino Mio Miosolo All-in-One Nappy (£8.99)
I love that Aldi sells cloth nappies, I have kind of sucked with having Lily in cloth full time like I did with Eloise but they’re such great investments because they really do save a lot of money (and landfill space) in the long run. These nappies are super easy to use, super absorbent with a stay-dry inner layer to keep your little one nice and dry. The poppers on the front mean these will fit from birth to potty training age which is amazing!
The colours come in – Butterfly Bloom, Dragonfly Daze, Happy Hopper and Loveable Ladybug.
You can also get a matching Bambino Mio Travel Changing mat (£8.99 which is the perfect size to pop into changing bags!
Annabel Karmel Recipe Book (£4.99)
I do love a good Annabel Karmel recipe book, I think one of the first ever weaning books I bought back when I had Eloise was an Annabel Karmel one and they really are great! This books takes you through the stages of weaning from first tastes right through to pre schoolers. If you’ve never cooked before or just need some good ideas to mix everyday things up then this is the book for you and at under a fiver you can’t really go wrong can you?
Aldi’s Baby Change Back Pack (£17.99)
Now this looks bloody great! I always went for fancy, expensive changing bags and they were always over the shoulder ones which were so awkward to carry with a baby in tow but the Aldi one can be carried by hand like a handbag or as a good old trust backpack which is so bloody much easier! They are available in black, navy or grey and less than half the price of a lot of others on the market.
V Shaped Pillow (£9.99)
My V shaped pillow was an actual life saver when I was pregnant and in the early days of breastfeeding. In fact, even without being pregnant it’s comfy af and they work wonders if you have SPD or restless legs.
Baby Bjorn Baby Carrier (£44.99)
This is probably one of the most raved about baby carriers, well, ever really. It’s the go to of celebrities and super easy to use if wraps and slings aren’t your thing. It’s easy for both Mum or Dad to wear thanks to the eays adjustments and for under £45 it’s a steal tbh.
Plus the essentials…
Aldi are second to none when it comes to affordable baby essentials like nappies, wipes, etc. You can grab a pack of wipes for under 60p and a pack of newborn nappies is only £1.15 which is mad if you compare the price to other brands. They even have their own version of waterwipes thats are super gentle and suitable for even the most delicate skin.
So those are my top picks for this years Baby & Toddler event! I will be dragging myself down there when it hits stores because there is so much stuff I want! Plus cheese and nappies, obvs.
