Would it really be Spring without a
Finding the right foundation is hard enough but my skin is combination so it’s basically a fucking nightmare because it’s possibly the most awkward skin type to shop for. Long gone are the days where Dream Matte Mousse and nothing else is an acceptable base for your make up and basically, I really bloody struggle to find something that ticks all the boxes for me.
This CC Cream is something I have raved about many a time on here over the past year (nearly!). I love BB creams but this is the first cc cream I’ve tried and I am still in love with it. I found myself reaching for my more matte bases during the Winter and using this as a kind of primer but since the sun has started existing again I have been loving this. I feel like for the Winter it was a bit too glowy? I don’t really know I just love how this looks when the sun is shining it honestly makes my skin look flawless. I love how it illuminates the right places without making me look oily. I’m super interested to see how the original holds up and whether it’ll be better for the Winter months perhaps? One for the Autumn/Winter wishlist thought I think.
I really need to get another Charlotte Tilbury lipstick or something because I feel like I do nothing but talk about Pillow Talk in literally every single beauty post I have written recently. It’s ok, I have my eye on a few lipsticks that I will hopefully be adding to my collection soon so I may find another lipstick obsession you never know but this is the most beautiful pinky nude shade I’ve ever seen. It’s sophisticated but casual enough for everyday wear, basically, if you don’t know what CT lipstick to go for the Pillow Talk is your gal.
I’m pretty sure everyone here knows what this lipstick is like because I post about it so often but it’s one of my
I bought this last Summer and I am loving it for the brighter days. It’s a beautiful golden champagne shade with noticeable glitter than somehow still looking sophisticated. I feel that more often than not, glittery makeup can end up looking like kids make up but somehow this pulls it off! The colour pay off is great but I find
I tend to pop this on my lower lid just under my lower lashline to give my eyes a bit of a pop and make me look more awake. I love this look and it ensures I don’t overkill on the glitter front for an everyday Spring look. I would say with this though, if you have really sensitive eyes then you may not get on with this. Whenever my hayfever is particularly bad my eyes hate this stuff and it makes them water so it’s worth bearing that in mind before splashing the cash on this one.
